About Me

9th Grade

Felix has improved strongly as a student this year.  In the beginning he was an average student with many struggles and he was not good at to many things. He was a bad writer and struggled specifically in being able to strongly describe images and places. Now Felix is a complete new writer and his describing skills have increased incredibly, he even considers writing to be strengths now. Another of his strengths would be science because he finds strong interests in biology and the study of cells within the human body. Felix knows a lot about the cells within the human body including their functions. He mostly favors the study of the Brain and how it helps to control the rest of a person's body.

Felix loves doing community service and helping people out. Outside of school Felix has worked in his mothers elementary school. He has helped teachers teach younger children math and science. Also, he has helped teach sports and fitness to younger kids as well. Felix finds this important to him because he is teaching the newer generation things that will help them in their future. Felix has also helped the poor within a community. He along with his advisory built shoe boxes filled with toiletries for poor men, women and children. Felix is extremely proud of this because it gave him a chance to help the people that are not so fortunate in their life. Also, he gave them items necessary to make those people feel good and clean about themselves. Felix has improved greatly over the past few months not only as a student but as a person.

10th grade

Felix admits he was a struggling student last year. He did pretty good in his classes but he was not at his best. This sophomore year Felix has changed and he has found out who he truly is not only as a student but as a person. Felix is extremely intelligent and hard working. He has worked so hard this entire year and every night he has stayed up to make sure all of his work is perfect. When something needs to be done Felix will work day and night to make sure it gets done no matter what.

Felix has also improved as an athlete this year. He has improved so much that he believes he skill could be used in his schools sports team. Felix also loves to learn about science and chemistry. He has loved learning chemistry this year and has taken an strong interest into it. Felix however dislikes math. He only likes some topics. History and Chemistry are what Felix has loved learning this year. He has learned so much about the world around him and some of things he has learned hit him hard. He was hit so hard that sometimes he considers being a person in the future who will change and end all the problems in the world.

11th Grade

This year as a Junior has been a breakout year for Felix. Not only has he has improved even more academically than he has in the previous years but Felix believes that this year he has found his true self and he now know what he wants to do in the future. Based on the this school year Felix has set a goal for his future. That goal is to become someone big who can change the world or gear it towards a better future. This is his actual goal and he thinks this not because he fears oblivion and he wants to make sure people remember him, but because he believes this world needs change. If that means being president then so be it, he will aim towards that goal.

Aside from finding his true self and goals Felix has also realized his potential as a leader. In many of his classes Felix has found out that he is a leader among his peers. His peers in a lot of classes look to him for advice and always want his opinion on their work. Not only his peers have shown that they see Felix as a leader, but the teachers of FMHS have also shown Felix that they see his a leader with great potential to be someone successful. Felix has grown close with many of the FMHS teachers and they all say the same thing to him. They say he is a generous, caring person who always look to be successful with his peers. He never lets anyone down.

This year in my senior year of high school at FMHS I have learned to love this school and cherish all the memories I"ve had with students and staff. This school year has by far been the funnest and most memorable year for me. I for sure will never forget the new memories I have made as well as friends. Highlights from this year would involve me going more into depth with my learning of American history and government with classes like American Conflict and American Capitalism. My understanding of the government we live in today has expanded by far as well my ability to analyze situations. Through out the years here at FMHS I have improved considerably not only as a student but as a person. FMHS has helped me grow into a well-rounded young man I believe. My ability to analyze works and overall knowledge of mathematics and English has increased beyond measure, and I am happy with where I'm at. Away from the academics highlights from this year involve spirit week as I was part of the committee who helped organize it as well teach its fun lessons. Also, prom was for sure a highlight because for once my senior class was able to have fun together instead of bickering at each other.

Next school year I will be going to John Jay College of Criminal Justice here in the city. I am sad that I will be leaving FMHS because this is my home and has been my place for the past 4 years. I am going to miss seeing my close group of friends everyday. I have established so many relationships with people here at FMHS, I know I am going to miss it all. However at John Jay I plan to get my life started as a young adult by getting myself on track with the college style life and getting a part-time job. I want to start slow with college so I can adjust. My next steps involve looking at possible career's however that decision cannot be made until I actually start at John Jay. Lastly, FMHS has done much for me over the years and I'm grateful for it all.
